Think the last non league team at Goodison in the cup was Woking. We absolutely demolished them 1-0.

Winnable home tie and half a chance of a winnable Quarter Final.. Turning a corner?

Think that we would have beat Bournemouth. But we have now got a great chance of getting into the QF. We had a good chance whoever we played. Now it's a great chance. Boreham Wood will no doubt set up to defend. They can't go hell for leather , with us having 4 or 5 fast attacking players. Gordon....Gray.....Richarlson......DCL.....Townsend......Dobbin.....will destroy them. We score first. And I predict a comfortable win. Not rocket science.
So for me , this is a chance of a QF. Hopefully another favourable draw. And we are on our way. Semi finals can go anyway. I treat them like a derby. Turn up.......And who knows.
But no slacking off. Go strong against Boreham Wood. Get a decent lead. Then rest a few players. Stroll ( hopefully) into the next round.
That's the theory anyhow. And I just don't trust a complete second string.
remember the debacle against the Liverpool kids. Our second string are mainly useless. So just field our first 11. Do a professional job on them. And win the tie.
