It's disgusting. They're just taking the P. Both clubs need to make a stand and say it's not something they will accept. We should for sure be opposed as we've already had to do this once before and that's why I think they're taking the P.
They aren’t arsed about match-attending fans; this farcical choice is for TV audiences and betting markets.Truly pathetic scheduling. Not a single thought towards the actual fans. There aren’t even any trains for their fans.
Criminal they've ignored Leeds v Harrogate for (probably) one of Villa v Wham or that southern plastic hardman derby of Millwall vs Dagenham.
Not even on proper tv, it’s on the BBC’s streaming service. All serviced to give the Sky darlings more chances to play pointless games abroad or extend European competitionsThey aren’t arsed about match-attending fans; this farcical choice is for TV audiences and betting markets.
Off the top of my head - QF weekend 95, pretty sure they lost at home on the Saturday to Spurs and we beat the Geordies at home on the Sunday. An age ago, granted, but I guess it proves it’s doable if they want.I'm guessing this is a logistical decision due to both ourselves and the other lot getting home ties. I can't remember a weekend where were both at home, one Saturday one Sunday
Put in for the school holiday special request now on the basis that is a one-off event not to be missed? Suspect a few will not be attending*.My two lads are absolutely gutted, I had said to them that I'd do my best to get them tickets to go (we're from Peterborough and often watch Posh). It's just not feasible to come on a Thursday now.
My 7 year olds last words to me tonight was that he was writing to Santa to get him to change the game to a Sunday![]()
To be fair to Dagenham fans they are ok. Probably get a load of West ham causing bother though I imagine.Criminal they've ignored Leeds v Harrogate for (probably) one of Villa v Wham or that southern plastic hardman derby of Millwall vs Dagenham.
Harrogate going to Elland Road is enormous for them, I'd imagine the biggest game in their history. Like Salford going to Man City. But no Millwall v Daggers might have some shirtless, England flag chest tattoo, mid-life crisis vibes so let's show that.
Makes even less sense considering the Kopites are playing Accrington Stanley. Which is 45 miles away and means away fans can actually attend.
