I have an inkling that the season will be a snoozefest bar a race or two.

Not sure how this race can become interesting. Top 3 most likely already decided.

Last season was great and this season started amazing but things have gone back to normal now. On average id guestimate that 30-35% of races are decent, the rest are a bit underwhelming or poor. Still enjoy watching them regardless as im a nerd but i imagine more casual audiences who started watching last season might run the risk of getting bored unless Ferrari can get their shiz together.

1-stopper here is not the optimal strategy. I think those runners aiming for that strategy are gonna get caught out.

Last season was great and this season started amazing but things have gone back to normal now. Probably 30-40% of races are decent, the rest are a bit underwhelming.

Vertstappen's engine blows up, Sainz's car starts driving like a cart-horse and you have Hamilton and Russell chasing him down for a mad finish.

Sainz will get onto the back of Verstappen by the end of the race with better tyres, but I think Max will do a 2nd stop and attack back

To be fair Ferrari's mistakes and reliability over the past few races is the main reason it's been a bit weak at the front.

It's similarly positioned to last season when Verstappen started to build up a decent lead prior to mid season, problem is Ferrari don't seem capable of doing a Merc and pulling it back.

Part of it is the failing of Ferrari in terms of reliability and competency and Mercedes with their appalling design. Nobody wanted more Mercedes domination...

... but right now it's been swapped with Red Bull domination with no real competition insight. Ferrari are okay, but you can't rely on them.
