just when you thought it couldn't get worse for Mercs and Ferrari, looks like the double quick response to porpoiseing may make them ride higher in the sky.

Regardless, if they don't do something they are going to damage some drivers if they can't fix it. Cranks up the urgency in mid-season while everyone is looking at the spending cap. Today's practice session at Montreal should be interesting.

If it just means red bull win at a canter this year then it will give Liberty and the FIA a headache if one team is miles ahead of rest. I’m aware the mercs have done this the last 7 year but it seems somehow different to this.

Yep. A RB blowout when we thought we might have a battle will not help "build the brand" for John Malone's money.

100% coverage of the Dutch market is great, but it's not a big market. I'm enjoying Checo's run of form. I'd enjoy a three way battle between makers a lot more.
Driving the Mercs is brutal duty, especially to finish third or fourth at best. The tifosi will hang around because they love to suffer and have a lot to complain about now.

Pathetic removing the grass from the first chicane and the one in the middle of the lap. More boring run off and the drivers don’t pay for their mistakes.

It's astonishing how quickly Ferrari's challenge has disintegrated. This is a straight run to the WDC for Verstappen, and I can easily see him wrapping it up early with the last 4 or 5 races of the season being dead wood

I expect to see Ferrari having a fair few grid penalties over the rest of the season as I expect, with more engine usage, they'll see more DNFs.

Bit rash that from GR, though I can understand him wanting to risk it.

This is an embarassingly easy pole for Verstappen

Entertaining Qualifying although it was clear Verstappen had it in the bag the entire time. Nice lap from Alonso
