You only have to remember back to 2019 when Hamilton virtually did a whole race on a single set of tyres to know that the drop off here is very slow

I am surprised Russell and Hamilton started on the same tyres/strategies - especially with Mercedes’ going all out for the win apparently.

Merc made the wrong choice putting both on hard. Verstappen can cruise till the end now, under zero pressure at all and can manage hi tyres.

Far better than a lot of drivers who'll still be there next year.

Verstappen will be able to ease these tyres to the end of the race quite easily here I reckon.

Hamilton's only chance is a SC, but I think if that happened it'd be more likely that they would get jumped by Perez

Went from threatening DRS to over 2 seconds.

This track is so easy on tyres - people pitting on lap 46 is ridiculous
