If the stewards acknowledge that happened. They have the chance to correct it by actually blaming Verstappen for the overtake.
He only won cause somebody decided he was going to win. He was never really the true champion.

It will be ridiculous, and totally unfair on the RB team. Who to be fair, took their chance and rolled the dice and it landed for them. But this is on 1 person,.or a group of people telling that 1 person what they want to happen.

Mercedes will have their dominance again, they hardly developed this seasons car concentrating on next years new regulations car where they have had 2 years now working on it which is a scary thought for the grid, contrast that with RedBull adding new aero bits on this season car every race, Lewis will be winning the championship with 4-5 races to spare next season.

What cheating, it sound to me like a bunch of Hamilton and Mercedes fans crying foul. I don't really care for Verstappen, but i appreciate that this was first F1 season in years and years worth watching. Everyone was dead tired of Mercedes snooze fest, and at least Verstappen got some charisma unlike Hamilton and Vettel before him

Doesn't warrant fixing the sport, the new regs are designed to break that dominance.
The cheating is changing protocol in terms of this race and Belgium where there were no racing laps completed.
The rules state all lapped cars should pass and reach the back of the line or none. The race director ignored said rules, clearly in the regs, and chose his own way.
It may not be cheating but it's a clear breach of the rules in which the sport is governed.

Why, because i find Mercedes snooze fest they turned F1 into last 10 years super boring? Literally nobody cared for F1 past decade beside dedicated niche, this is first time since Schumacher that some passion returned to sport and a lot of people showed interest, yeah i like this, i like controversy, because its fricking fun
There is good reason why people liked Maradona so much despite being flawed character, people like controversy in sport, people like flashy characters prepared to do everything for win

The sport became boring because up until this season Red Bull, Ferrari and McLaren haven't done a good enough job.... the other teams get a pass but those 3 teams not doing a good enough job are the reason the sport has been boring for the past few years. Blaming Merc for doing their job better than everyone else is a bit weird.
