I just think he has done what he has been told.
Ensure we get a new champ.
Only Hamilton's pure refusal to lose is stopping that.
Every once in a while, you get an athlete, who will just point blank will not accept defeat, and give everything to ensure they don't.
Think we are seeing that with Hamilton this year.

I just think he's weak. If he has any integrity he needs to be totally impartial and be prepared to say "enough's enough" when a decision has been made instead of entertaining all these ridiculous petitions from the teams during the course of a race. He comes from the school of trying to be appease everyone, which only ever earns you a reputation of being two-faced and having no personal integrity. An utter cretin.

Masi’s position as race director is surely untenable now. He has to go. His buddy talk approach means that he doesn’t have the respect of any of the teams and drivers. Absolutely terrible at his job and helped turn F1 into a circus.
Fk me, don't tell Mosh, has all the attributes as our next DOF !!

What a season it has been.. honestly, imo it has been the best F1 season we've seen in over 30 years of following the sport. Although we have had close and dramatic seasons in the past, none of them have had the sheer amount of wheel to wheel racing that we've had this year where Hamilton and Verstappen have gone toe to toe on track so many times.

I've said it before.. this rivalry has progressed to what Senna/Schumacher should have become. Hamilton vs Verstappen will be what defines F1 today for a lot of people and it will be remembered and replayed decades from now.

Kopite victim mentality, amusing as the way he is treated differently actually favours him.

Masi has also said they will deduct points for deliberate wrecking

He's such an intolerable bellend. "We were both off the track" -- yeah, otherwise there would have been a collision you fktard. Some people are so disingenuous that you cannot have any sympathy for them.

He‘s a knob of the highest order. Unfortunately he’s Liberty Medias golden goose so he will continue to be allowed to be a knob and a dangerous one at that.

Some changes that I would like to see:

- Handing a place back should necessitate dropping back to at least 1 second behind so that there's a fair bit of work for the driver to do before they are in a position to try another move.

- Standing restarts should be replaced by rolling restarts. Rather contentious, as I acknowledge that standing starts are the biggest opportunity for position changes, but F1 should not be reliant on that. They are also the most dangerous phase of a race, and if you are going to be calling SCs and Red Flags in the name of safety then its stupid and hypocritical to then go through the highly risky standing restart.

- Cars that are worked on during restart periods (including tyre changes) should restart from the pitlane and to rejoin at the back on the re-formation lap.

I'm also becoming less and less of a fan of the FL strategy 2 laps from the end -- imo it detracts from the purity of the final result, but I'm not sure what can be done about it now the point is available The problem is that the performance gap between the cars leaves a pitstop's window by the end of the race. Maybe with the closer racing we are promised in 2022 it won't be so lame.

The last sessions of the whole season, so you can expect all the teams to be running their old engines to the max in the practice sessions.

FWIW here's my purely subjective scorecard for the year so far.
Points out of 10 for each weekend, taking into account:
