Hamilton's tyres very marginal. He'll either end up fending off Alonso if he stays out, or battling to get back past him if he pits again

Ham got nothing to lose now by pitting, as he's lost fastest lap.
He'll drop down 1 place but surely pick up FL again, so no points lost, and he'll be on better tyres to attack the cars ahead

Yeah but it's timing, he's waiting so he can go flat out to finish.
