As most know I bought a new Doblo freedom about a month ago since then I could not open the rear door so called the R.A.C out and good enough they fixed it just now I have gone to go and get something for tea and the Accelerator pedal has stuck revving like mad so I phoned the showroom I bought it from and have been told to get rac out again,Now is it me but surely its their responsibility its less than six weeks old and already two faults,I have had Renault for the last twenty years ,I never keep one longer than 3yers but never had any bother with them except a flat tyre oh and a flat battery once im pissed off to say the least.the guy from the showroom asked did I think its a serious fault??:@

Take it back, park it thru the showroom window and tell them you want a new 1, gimme a shout if you dont fancy driving it thru the window, i will gladly do it.

Roy, you know if it has an electronic throttle or not? If it is an old-fashioned cable throttle, then just pop the hood and mess with it until it unsticks. Good for a quick fix but take it back to get it fixed properly under warranty.

Contact trading standards at Liverpool city council and ask them to advise. If you are going to keep having trouble, these guys are good to have on side. Document each problem you've had as well. You never know if there are more to come. Good luck, mate. (y)

Who the [Poor language removed] are Doblo?

My battery has gone, this car has been a unlucky charm for me.

New brakes, new clutch, new tyres in a matter of 6 months.

thanks lads ,the Rac said its n electronic sensor and it would not happen while I'm driving,so thats a relief anyhow he recons the carpet could be the problem so he moved it and the other thing is that I might knock the peddle as I get out and the sensor ends that as soon as I switch on,he also said its a waste of time taking it to the manufacturer or showroom as its highly unlikely to show up ,his advice was phone the sellers every time it happens and it its happened another three times demand its changed,he also said watch them change it to make sure they do.:(:(
