I fear this could be a very defining season for our future sadly.

14th/15th with a comfortable season. No relegation scares. That's the key part for me. I don't want a season of worry and stress. Just sit pretty away from it and build on it continually.

I want the last day at Goodison to be a celebration. I don't want to be ripping my seat out in anger. I want to rip it out smiling.

Genuinely far too many variables such as new owners, deductions and squad enhancements in this window for me to set expectations. Just hope for mathematical safety ASAP and watch them play in peace.

Too much negativity in here (which is obviously understandable). Finished 11th on points last season with a thinner squad and fewer attacking options than this season. There's no reason why this team can't finish in the top half, bar deductions.
