Expectation again

who knew much of pienaar in the summer? who expected such good play from a player that was an outcast?

he has since produced the goods.

if munny is signed, loan and then fully, can we as supporters temper our expectations because we never saw him turn a game solo like c.ronaldo (****) can and does, lets reevaluate what is possible from him, because we arent getting a paddy vieira, or c.ronaldo (spit) and if some modorate performances are coupled with the memory of the summers histrionics then it could be the fuel that taints him permanently at goodison.

is moyes on another limb with this one? january doesnt hold the best record for us in terms of signings...

who gets to miss out?

Harsh on Ossie? Thats football. I am sure Moyes will pick the best squad for each game, and that might mean Ossie being swapped in for one of the others.

Im with you to a degree suits, i still think he has a lot to prove regardless of the [Poor language removed] during the summer, but the raw talent is there you can see it. Hes 21 and will get better, im not going to write of a 21 year old kid of for making a stupid decison.

Footballs cut throat mate, if we sign him after six months and plays [Poor language removed] for the next year wel prob sell him to Shef Utd. Somtimes when it comes to running a club and a team you have to take the emotion out of decison making. Its only us fans who have the luxary of emotion to the extent we do.

Hes been with us for six months before, if he was that bad of a charicter, moyes wouldnt have him back.

that emotion is what im relying on moyes for, to pick up on the character, atmosphere and general feel of the entire camp (oo errr)

a loan is a loan, if he does ok and moyes tries to sign him only for him to [Poor language removed] off to galatasary or somewhere else in summer 08 then can we all get on the same hymn sheet and say finally that hes a real 'rat bag'.

He's on loan so he has to produce the goods. Plus we've bailed him out so he owes us, not that he possesses the character to think that way I reckon.

But who are we kidding? If he scores the winner against the [Poor language removed] then he's sound.

I think that moyes knows he'll have to play his heart out to regain the trust of the fans. He'll only be signed on loan and I think his attitude towards the team could be the difference between whether he gets a deal or not at then end. I think most evertonians would be glad to have him back but we need to know he can play in the great team that moyes has created.
It may be harsh on osman but it can only be good for the team to have 6 great midfielders challenging for a first team place.

I feel that Ossie will be in the team.....Arteta will be gone. I hope I am wrong but I just can't see him staying after this season and this deal could be part of him going to Valencia.

listen we are in 3 competitions right now, and will be in at least 2 for a while so it's not a bad idea to have some cover. Also taking into account injuries I'd say another good quality midfielder can't hurt, he's only on loan so if he doesn't cut it it isn't the end of the world. I personally see no downside.

He just recently signed a 5 year extension with Everton. He will be staying a while.

That contract doubled his money!!! Of course he signed it. These days if a player wants to go he will and Valencia will be bidding big to get him. He will go as well to get inthe Spanish side.

No your wrong. If a player wants to go and the offer is accepted by the board, then he goes. Not because he wants to go. The player is obligated to fulfill his contract.

Point is he doesn't want to go, he has made that clear a number of times before and after signing the extended contract.

No. YOU'RE wrong. The board will accept a bid because they realise the player wants away, is not tourning in good performances, is being disruptive to the team or doing anythin else that the players do these days to get the move they want. Tell Big Sam about fulfilling contracts.

Osman would get a chance to prove his worth as Pienaar is away in the cup, should expect him to recover around Chelsea's match!

I have been looking forward to see such formation:-

------------- Howard ------------------

Neville --- Yobo --- Lescott --- Baines ---

------------- Carsley -------------------

Arteta --- Fernandes --- Cahill --- Pienaar

------------- Yakubu/AJ ----------------

This would be our best formation, once Yobo and Yakubu comes back, I believe Pienaar would be back with us for Blackburn match.

I certainly hope Fernandes deal get sort out tomorrow so he could play in the Man City game, we need him in the middle more than ever.
