Robert, no offence but I really dont think you have a clue. You say get rid but why?! We dont have replacments you offered no example of replacments therefore this thread is pointless.

...nope, I'm sure he won't take offence at that. I mean how could he ?

tbf he has a point, every club has players they could replace with better ones. I agree with some mentioned, I disagree with others = we do need to replace if we lose some though. Yobo or Distin can go as we have 5 CB's provided we replace him with a quality RM / CF / LB

he said get rid, not one mention of replacing. It just makes us sound like a 2nd rate club when peopl say get rid of this or that player.

Unless we have got anyone else in we should stick with what we've got.

Sure, in an ideal world, we'd be making a couple of big signings. But to suggest wholesale squad changes with 12 days of the window left open is madness. It's funny how the original list has shrunk down to a few. I'm not opposed to one or 2 changes. But can live with the squad we've got. If anything I'd like maybe Robbie Keane, and I'd be super happy, and I'd keep Yak too. But to do what the original post said...well...we'd just be acting like a skint Man City.

It would be most probable that Neville will be getting groomed at present, with a view to moving onto the coaching team when he finishes.

Yes below I list plyers I would dearly love for them to be shown the exit door. I am not being sentimental either over years of service but am concerned in my view they are not upto the standard we need. Many will jump on me for this for sure so be it and I will end up on more ignore lists.

The players:-

Hibbert

Neville

Distin

Osman

Yobo

Yak

Saha

I know some will say they can still do a job well I can still eat my cheese as it is only one day from it's past use date does not mean it is that good. There will be cries of weakening the squad. I do not see it that way, to me it is casting adrift deadwood. When I see at the start of each of our games some of these players in the starting lineup or even on the bench, I shudder and dread the result.

I honestly think we will not be able to thoroughly progress until the manager stops using these players.

Hibbo is good for backup imo. Then again so is Neville, even better, and he still has a place in our team - as a motivator/coach. Remember Stubbsy being there with Moyes in the FA Cup matches? No one will buy any of them anyway.

Distin was a panic buy and we all know that, so i think he'll be a good backup, too.

Ozzy won't get bought, really rare chance of that happening, and he won't go for the money we want for him, i guess. He isn't consistent AT ALL, and that's been proven over the years, and it could be a negative thing for teams to see in him. On his day he's as better, if not better, than anyone else, too bad that THAT day is rare.

Yobo.... we're too skint for backups this costly.

Yak still has a chance in our team, really. Anyone seen his record in the EPL? Exactly.

Saha is good, really. But I personally would play the Yak before him.

I really think you have a point, as in the match with Blackburn i hated how when the ball got to Neville he hoofed it upfront stopping the step-by-step attack. He is deadwood, but too bad, because he has a place in our team. As, probably, all do all of the before-said people. I'm not having a go at the team for one game, as we are proud being Everton and this is often seen to be fair, but really Coleman fits well better in our team with this game plan. I'd really like to see Billy playing ahead of Ozzy, too.

Overall - no matter what we say and think, Moyes is the man to decide these things and he does it best, even if we sometimes don't play very well at all. We're making progress and that's a fact. Let's not jump on Moyesy for one match.

IMWT, COYB!
