Not really quite reserved until i went through the turnstyle that Kop end scared the crap out of me our feet lifted off the floor as the swayed forwards 23 000 it held - great to see opposite a packed Blue anfield road end chanting Champions all through the 2nd half - could only get a Kop ticket with my older brother who I lost for 20 minutes in the crush!I bet 12 year old joey was a very cheeky monkey
I think and hope we can get a win on sunday!Just to be certain, an away win would be Unsworth's best win to date, I think we can agree.
But how many days are we saying he has had to prepare this time?
Not Monday, as he didn't have the job
Tuesday ok
Wednesday no travelling to the game
Thursday recovery
Friday ok training
Saturday ok
Can we expect a result after just three days of prep ? Seems a bit unfair

Fear not Orly my man, Everton are going to make sweet sensual love to Leicester this Sunday.

I agree 100% bud, but i would counter that with the fact that that particular night, was when i realised we would rule Europe for years. It did soemthing to me that night, made me think i was witnessing a team thta would eclipse the 62/63 side and the 69/70 side by smashing Europe to pieces. Then life as an Evertonian toodled along and webbed me in the knackers of course, but that night i dared to dreamYeah, but we were without doubt the best around by that point; brilliant as that night was, even at 1-0 down we knew we would come back and win - that smashing of Man U was when it first hit me we were the absolute top dogs again.

I was in the Anfield Road end that day - also as a 12 year old. I remember reading the reports in the Echo on the Monday and Shankly claiming our first goal was an own goal as there was no way Joe Royle would ever beat Ron Yates in the air. A great day and fantastic atmosphere. God, I wish we could have some of that now.Not really quite reserved until i went through the turnstyle that Kop end scared the crap out of me our feet lifted off the floor as the swayed forwards 23 000 it held - great to see opposite a packed Blue anfield road end chanting Champions all through the 2nd half - could only get a Kop ticket with my older brother who I lost for 20 minutes in the crush!
Walter Smith - boring, can't be bothered!
Roberto Martinez - The 3-0 home victory against Arsenal when we played them off the pitch. I know we won away at Man Utd the same season but so did every one else (even Newcastle) which kinda takes the shine off it a bit.
.
lol this is the era where i damn near switched off
