Everton's worst premiership squad

If you'd have asked me this after Jagielka's first few games for us, when he was in midfield, I'd have said he could have had Claus Thomsen's spot.

Slaven Bilic was quality, played well when fit for Everton. What about Brett Angel, Marc Hottiger, and Earl Barrett.

Terry Phelan didnt have a bad game for us. He just didnt play much due to injury.

There was absolutely NOTHING wrong with Carl Tiler during his time with us. Didnt put a foot wrong. Its weird, he seems to have been thrown into worst team list through word of mouth or something. I question how many people actually watched him play for us. Decent solid CB who again just didnt play a ton of games for us.

Im sick of defending him now...

I agree, Carl Tiler was fine for the quality of squad he played in.

Paul Gerrard was the worst 'keeper for me, consistently anyway. That guy could not parry a ball to the side; he constantly parried it straight to the opposition striker.

Baardsen played one game. I'd go for Simonsen,..he was consistently bad
Tiler was pretty decent...I'd go for Xavier over him. John Okane was one of the worst players I have ever seen in an everton shirt...worse than Alec Cleland. Phelan was pretty good...I'd go for David Burrows at LB

Claus Thomsen has to be in there, as does Danny Williamson, Big Bad Brett, Mike Milligan, that short @sre Swede...I can't remember his name....Jees there are way too many,

To be fair Danny Williamson got injured after like 8 games. He had ability until his legs fell off. So unlucky though, had a majpor injury in his right leg, took two years to overcome it and then did the exact same with his left leg.

Nowt wrong with John O' Kane either. Did a job when called upon.

Nah, Scott Gemmill did well for us when he signed alongside Kevin Campbell. Campbells goals kept us up that season but I dont underestimate the part Gemmill played either.

Again with a lot of our players though he got injured and came back rubbish. I always thought Gemill was a tidy if rather lightweight player. Not great but nowhere near one of our worst. Steven Hughes for example would get in a worst team ahead of him. So would Simon Davies.

Glad somebody else has rated Paul Holmes so badly. He was dire. We have had so many crap players we could easily make 2 sides up.
