Who is considered the real prospects at this level? I read somewhere that we should be looking out for Ledson, and I see he captains England in his age group...

Ledson is a good player for his age, so is Kenny.

Couldn't really spot any weaknesses today though! Kenny, Ledson and Birch have played for England, Jones has played for Wales.

Passing has been really good. Hopefully this is what Martinez has told all levels of our club to play. It's very encouraging to see us playing arsenal / barcelona type football at this level. [Not comparing us to either of them at this level, but similar playing styles] I hope this is a sign to come.

Irvine should take most of the credit, made a big thing about it a year ago saying that England dont focus enough on the technical ability and that was what he was going to incorperate, being head of the academy...

Agree. I think Irvine has been a very astute signing. But i think under Martinez has allowed Irvine to go and do what he wishes and let us play this type of style where as under Moyes i think it was a different set up in fairness.

Do you know if George Green is touring with this squad Swisso? Always like to keep tabs on this one - could be a superstar. Has he played any of the other games?

Not sure, his girlfriend keeps 'favouriting' my U18 tweets on Twitter so god knows where he's at

Vanished for large parts of last season. If it's an injury, he would seem to be very injury prone, don't think he's actually strung a run of games together! Wouldn't like to spread rumours or anything as to why he's not around.

Does seem a bit of a loose cannon to be fair though. Not sure if he has the mentality to make it. But certainly the ability.

Hopefully he'll get us into this NextGen junior champs lge tournament in the near future.
