Everton's Positive Press in the States

Everton have three signature results this year: wins over Chelsea and Manchester United, and the draw with Arsenal. They played well in those games, but not well enough to garner the seven points that they did.

???

Mersey Park

Come on, quick google and you can find out what the name of Stanley Park is.

Mersey Park True. Didn't catch that on my read.

I would say we had a little rub of the green (woodwork) in the Arsenal game though I felt we played the best overall in that one. Deserved the full three in Man U game. Chelsea was a bit scrappy, on the back foot a bit for the three points. But those are top teams (Man U aside) and by no means was it a fluky 7 pts.

In fairness, that is a good read!

My mind does stumble over the way teams are singular entities in the US, though ('is Everton for Real?'). But even so, good stuff!

Part of me wants us to stay under the radar but part of me wants us to make a massive statement over next four games and really push on with good results and every body talking about us and the pressure that will bring. If martinez wants us to ooze confidence and style that is certainly something to approve of. School of science and all that. Will be tricky today I think but come on you blues.
Good article mate.

When former manager David Moyes traded (what he thought was) up to Manchester United, he took with him his rugged, determined, defensive-minded approach.

Extracted from the Grantland report, does that strike a chord, I ask.

Have to say that Grantland article was very analytical and damned good summary.

Ladies and gentleman! Boys and girls! THIS IS SOCCER DAY LIVE!
We have Everton taking on the mighty Fulham in what could prove to be a Magnficent encounter! In the blue corner we have Roberto Martinez's Everton! Hoping to carry they excellent Goodison Park form with another glorious victory! In the white corner we have Fulham, new manager! New and improved forward line! New outlook! What way will this go? The suspense is killing us in the studio so lets go LIVE to our main man and pundit Claus Thomsen!

What I want to know is how many power-shots Everton have produced when rushing the opposition.

I'm sure Goodison was named Mersey Park in Pro Evolution 3?
