Everton Youth Teams Thread

Interesting for John to start with the number 7 shirt, indicating a right midfield/wing position after he played there in that first team friendly for Gomes. Maybe a shout from Carlo to start playing him in a more attacking role, he supposedly liked what he saw.

Started off as a wide midfielder and converted to full back, I don't see him goin back long term

Everton stay 7th after 1-0 late dodgy pen give chelsea a deserved win based on 2nd half and 1st win for the leaders in 8 v Everton u23s, It was not the best performance from Everton u23s the whole game to say the least but they defended well 2nd half, while chelsea improved a lot 2nd half and as said by the com its almost like unsworth went there to defend and get a point, that is 2 wins in last 12 in the u23s league for Everton

Everton u23s next game is Home at southport v Liverpool u23s week sunday 1pm ko live on LFCTV

Yes commentators destroying Unsworth for his negative tactics. Midfield awful and some fans wanted Bení in the first team.

Unsworth comes from the David moyes school of managing, but he’s a lot worse if that’s even possible. Negative defensive tactics. And when we concede, throw a couple of attackers on.

Can’t wait to see the back of him. Dinosaur
