no, their u23s are crap so hes probably their best player now but couldnt even get on the bench for ours.

...I get mixed up but I recall the horrific knee injury he got when a keeper clattered him. I knew right away it was a bad one but I blamed him for not getting his shot away immediately.

Eggs you are right - this is probably wrong thread but like you - I saw Gosling in that game against Wolves - he got up after being treated by the physio for ages, 'tried to run it off' but was like Bambi on ice.

It was excruciating watching him carry on - he should have been on a stretcher - for what he did or didn't do later on with his contract and what we did or didn't offer doesn't get away from the fact that on that day Gosling was as game as f*** in wanting to play on. May not be a popular opinion about him but I can only say what I saw.
