The England number 7 looks very comfortable on the ball, happy to receive it when under pressure. Lookman has the dribbling and vision to go very far, quality.

Onomah I think, agreed, stood out to me too. Touch of the Dembele about him.

Good game so far. England deservedly ahead. Look man the best of the blue boys I reckon. Onomah best overall. I like Dowell too. Drifts in and out of the game but very dangerous around the box. Solanke looks a good player but clearly has an ego on him. Often ignores best option in favor of going it alone. Well played by DCL for the goal.

Lookman looks so dangerous when he moves in to a central position. DCL is a persistant player who doesn't give up and deserved the goal for not giving up on it. Still needs polishing up though. England looking good so far but Venezuala have some cracking players.

Not a bad first half that, think lookman should drift in a bit nearer the centre he could get a goal here.
