....getting the impression the Blues are growing into this. It's not easy for new faces to drop into a side. I thought the lad at LB did well and you can see D C-L is a target man. Need to get the creative players playing, the likes of Dowell has a touch of class.

...Edwards is a little maestro, we've spoken about him for a couple of seasons on here.

Been following our youth teams for years and he's the most naturally talented lad I've seen in our academy. Just hope that the hype he's got around him doesn't make it harder for him to make the breakthrough.

We literally do look like a team that hasn't played together before.

They just need to calm down a tad and cut out the sloppiness. Few of the lids showing glimpses of their class though, Robinson at left back being one of them.

Sometimes unfamiliar first teamers actually disrupt a team, Charsley on will settle them into their usual game. He's a hard worker, not classy but will add a bit more going forward.

I didn't make it out to the Cotton Bowl yesterday but it didn't surprise me the U18s lost. Surely they know the squad isn't as good as last year's and I wonder if they would have turned down an invitation if they weren't defending champions.
