Well deserved, but you’d have thought his agent would have said to him “ Wait 7 weeks and I’ll get a 3 year deal until June 29” , but presumably he’s happy. We knew Oliwayiola was going to be good but Pita has made outstanding progress this season.

I would imagine, though this is pure supposition, that given these pros are promised and agreed well ahead of time that these later deals are then backdated to the start of season or significantly prorated otherwise yeah you'd just wait it out 2 months

If Pita continues this progress I can see him getting a new contract and out on loan in 20 months time.

Would be a good timeline for him, position would be the bigger question for me. Left wing, right wing or right back. I never got on board with the Stan Mills is a right back narrative but when I watch Pita so far he is very wing backy
