Apologies if asked and answered, is Divine Madueke any relation?
Will be very interesting to see if he follows the Gordon/Armstrong method of going away this summer and getting absolutely hench.
Yes, his grandson apparently.Apologies if asked and answered, is Divine Madueke any relation?
Anyway to get away from Graham for a bit I really hope we get a full season of Foster next year, I thought he was great last night. Some wrinkles to his game with everyone at this level but he brings great balance to a midfield, always talking and showing for the ball. Plays like a Busquets or Rodri.
I presume Akarakiri is off but if we could have a stable midfield of Demi, Olayiwola and Foster next season it might make up for losing Graham.
Robbie Keane ? Yes I’d along with that Eggs a busy clever footballer who scored quite a few goals and didn’t stay too long at Liverpool, I believe he didn’t like the smell there.….not sure he’ll ever be ‘hench’. He’ll have all the personal trainers etc but they won’t want him outgrowing his frame, he is what he is and it works for him. Always reminded me of a Robbie Keane type of busy, clever footballer, always on the front foot and never lacking for attitude.
Personally I’d let the opponents worry about him even though I understand the points other fans are making and their concern for Braiden’s safety.Yeah not a traditional winger, not a traditional No9 , if he picks up the ball wide he’s doesn’t head wider seeking to cross the ball he’s going to drive inside into the box and either shoot or hit a low ball back into the box. A bit of a conundrum of how we use him , but the down side is we use him or lose him.
I guarantee if he was at Utd or Liverpool he’d be in their 21’s it’s always been,
Who you play for at that level
I could be wrong but I think I read that the under 19 team were in contention to qualify for a tournament so they kept him with the team playing more meaningful matches….NI haven’t exactly got a large supply of talent and Graham was featuring in League of Ireland at just 15 so he’ll be well on their radar. Just my assumption, but the fact he hasn’t been selected at U21 level might be more about Club and Country agreeing on how best to manage him at this stage.
after what happened at arsenal and due to recent performances for me Beto should be our main striker now and I’d much rather have Beto starting up front for us instead of Barry….he’s 10st dripping wet, if Graham comes through I’d be surprised if it’ll be as a lone central striker. He’s clever, he’s capable of filling other positions, I personally don’t see him as an alternative to Barry.
