The year we sold Robinson, we had Baines and Digne in the squad. Sometimes, quality of the player doesn't even matter, it's just timing.

Thierry Small was also 14 at the time only 2 years away from making his professional debut

The CF sold to Bournemouth now at at Spurs sold for 1 million without a league appearance for the other lot .....

….not at all, just couldn’t equate Robinson to our Branthwaite discussion. Actually, looked back to my posts about him from 2017 onwards in the old youth team threads, I liked him lots. Funny enough, never noticed any from you when he moved on

It's when we started looking like a dads army side I wondered about youth players where are they?

Behave £sss kept him here & he has a good buy out clause pity Robinson never .....

Robinson was very similar to Roman Dixon when he was with us. Rapid, quite powerful but awful positioning and not enough bite. I was glad when we sold him for £1M plus sell on. I was proven wrong but it was far from obvious that he would make it to near the top.

Do you mean Solanke? He played for Chelsea in the Champions League before moving to the RS for £3m

They also sold him for 20 million after 20 odd games. He even started a derby against us. I'm pretty sure he's confusing him with Brewster although he also doesn't fit

…..ha, ha, here’s just a flavour of what I was saying 7 years ago about Robinson. I can go back further. Clearly I’m being honest in saying I rated the lad, pity Steve Walsh thought differently. Be good to see your posts from back then;

I started off with a well balanced post - I know its hard for a youngster to make the grade even harder under the system we use now rationalised games etc -
We now have better owners secured Braithwaite etc - put it this way if Jack Harrison is purchased in any form I will not watch the games he plays in & if I was young enough to have a season ticket I would not go ....
The were some games under Dyche with his OAP's I refused to watch - end of

There hasn't actually been any serious links to Harrison tbh, a bit of clickbait nothing more.
