Everton u17s won 5-0, it was 3-0 at Half Time with 2 of the 1st half goals in the 1st 6mins & 3rd on 25mins, plus we missed a pen

Ta. It’ll be interesting to see the teams, presumably mainly our first year Scholars and presumably the core of the team that beat them 4-0 at u16s .

Cheers no surprise they all stopped giving score updates at 2-0 then considering they were both reds! Great result.

Stanley Mills for the first goal is brilliant. Looks a cut above.

They playing him more as a RW in the 23s? I think that's a wise move - he certainly has the pace to play in that position.

Yes, he’s always been a winger first and foremost.

That's the position he's mainly played in at the lower levels - there was just a brief period where they tried him as a wing-back.

I'm just happy to see him getting some playing time!

Congrats Cody! Spelling errors aside I'm pretty sure Boris said all our scholars have guaranteed pros this year and so alls these announcements do is tell us the players DOBs. Also looks like we snapped this kid up the second he came over from Germany given he moved here in 2017 and signed age 11

Cheers, indeed his 2nd was a good one, the old ” left footer cutting in from the right”. I’ve got Instagram but never use it , possibly an age thing . It’s a proper competition and we beat the RS 5-0 , so hopefully we’ll have all the goals on the Club site ……soon , but don’t hold your breath.
