Is Bobby Carroll confirmed to be released yet or are the club giving him another year to get him back on track and then maybe find something new? It would be very harsh on him after his past year and the current situation, I doubt he'd have a chance to find a club.

My impression was that Gibson got gradually eased from the England age group sides by bigger, stronger defenders like Guehi, Panzo and Latibeadiere, certainly he never progressed as a CB for England youth teams . I thought he should have got a shot at left back when he was 18/19 when we played Martina instead. I like him , but you’d have to say the bigger, younger, more powerful Branthwaite is ahead of him as a left sided CB, and as we don’t seem to have the desire to bring one young player fully into the first team reckoning let alone two in the same position its hard to see him now becoming a feature with us.
