I'd say in these times, and how hard it is to break into a Premier League team these days if just one breaks through from this group, its a success!
Moyes always used to work on the basis of 1 getting through every 2 years and i think thats a fair target.
Were we can improve though is if they aren't going to make it here is improving them and raising there profile to enable us to receive the best funds for them should we look to move them on, and not just release them at 23 when there contract expires
It's very difficult to say at his age. The skillset for fullbacks has changed completely in recent years, if you'd told me 10 years ago that Ashley Young would play full back for United and England i'd have laughed in your face but it's happened. Alexander Arnold can't defend to save his life either. I'm not saying he'll end up at fullback, but there's really nothing particularly strange about him playing there with his skillset.
Yes true enough he is very young and has plenty of time to lean, but he looks a strong burly kid for his age and tackling should naturally be already part of his game in my opinion, anyway he looks far better going forward and attacking than he does defending.i think its far too early to say that, to me those are the easiest things to learn as a full back and at 16 has loads of time.

Yes those two years missed through injury after played a big part in he’s career being stifled, let’s see what he’s like next season.Livewire who is very quick, they seem to prefer to bring him on against tiring opposition which works to good effect.
He's very erratic though and missed about 2 years of football which would have made all the difference.
Lawrence a name mentioned on here as one of our brightest u16/u18 playerEverton u18s make it 3-1 on 88mins - Lawrence
