Watched him a couple of times since he has come back from injury he's a live wire looks to have a great attitude and desire , interesting to see how he performs at u23 next season

Yep, i like him, his pace scare's players, should have scored 1st few mins v man utd few weeks back

It's a massive win that one. City and Chelsea are the best 2 teams by far at youth level, so to go to their back garden and win is a massive statement, and in it's own way as back a statement as winning the thing. (If you won it, but didn't defeat either Chelsea, or certainly City I wouldn't say it was as big an achievement).

They have 5 England under 18's players in their team, plus high quality foreign lads. They have been hammering teams for between 4 to 7 in recent weeks. 6 of that team turned up to Liverpool for an under 23's game against a ful strength and much oder Liverpool team and stuck 7 past them (think Delap got a hat trick).

That we have gone to their ground and got a win, indicates that this age group has the potential to be quite a special one for us. The two below is are even stronger. So a great day allround. Brilliant to see Campbell, who is a very young under 17 play so well too.

We certainly seem to have a good selection of centre backs coming through

Onyango injury is untimely. Was hoping we might get to see a first team cameo from him before the season ends. Any news on the injury?

It's probably Onyango's season over but if its a clean break he should be ready to start next season fully fit. It's an absolute shame for him as he was involved with the first team.

....I put so much stock in this competition as THE benchmark of having a top player or a group of very good players. When we’ve won it (or got the final) we’ve had a goodun.

Terrific victory and a tough draw in the next round, the FA Youth Cup is really high-profile & it’s important we regularly get to the latter stages.

Haven't heard anything it was just someone said Unsworth said it was a break on commentary. I suppose it will be a waiting game just hope it's not too bad for the lad.

Yep, watched the last 25mins, Liverpool were playing with 10men for last 20 odd as well

To be honest wasn't that impressed with utd when they beat us at the recent u18 game considering they are top of the league

Yep, could have been so different if Garcia would have scored that one on one in 1st few mins, or even if Whitaker would have took that chance to make it 1-1 when keeper was nowhere
