Why do we choose to play weakened teams in these games?

I understand it's about development but at certain times you must play your best team as the result DOES matter.

Derbies, title deciders against teams bottom of the league, FAYC games, we should be preparing for them properly trying to win.

They certainly do at the other 3 Cat 1 clubs in the North West and that's even at under 9 level.

Dont think i am imagining but feels like we have scored with the only shots/times we have been by there goal,our good defending and keepeing have stoped them as they have looked likely scoring
