A good performance in the first half, to lead 1-0. I thought we looked very sound with a back three of Feeney, Gibson , Foulds. Garbutt and Jones as wing backs, Beni and Adeniran in the middle; Hornby the striker with Henen and Charsley switching about either side of him. A very fluid formation, sometimes 3-4-3, then 5-2 - 2 -1 and any combination in between. Hornby has really shown he’s made the step up from u18 like we’d hoped he would, seems to be improving every time I see him , strong in the air, good positioning and the neat feet from his former midfield days to score. Three left footers in the starting team , more than we have in the entire first team outfield squad.
Just need to see Yannick running down the wing for me.
