2025/26 Everton Women - Super League & Cup Games

As nearly always we are a long long way off these top teams. Very little joined up play up front. We missed Mace. Team kept going and trying to the end but a few positions need looking at in the summer. Blundell struggles against good wide players and I’d be surprised if United want to keep her, but not sure now if we should take her. Payne on the left is as pointless as Dwight McNeil on the right.
Blundell has left Man Utd. It's either stay with us or go somewhere else

We have at least 11 out of contract, maybe slightly more. I know a few did sign months ago, but have not been said for whatever reason as usual

Get rid of everyone and just leave Brosnan in goal to keep the score respectable i say.

In fact that ain't far off to a lot of matches so we'll give her some company and add Mace as a box to box defender/mid/hybrid striker.

We need big changes this summer, starting with a top end manager/manageress and let them decide who they want to keep, who they're happy to let go and the positions we need strengthening

That’s a lot of decisions to make. I could probably guess about 7-8 of the 11. Priorities to keep would be Brosnan Mace Fernandez (who would be good with a more experienced partner next to her), and Gago if she wants to stay. Then happy enough to keep Wheeler Hayashi Galli. I think most of those are in contract longer than this year.
All depends how much the owners want to commit to it. Definitely need a manager who knows the women’s game well in terms of scouting.

And to be fair, also Kitagawa, Finnigan if she’s able to return, Kramzar, and I forgot Ornella

I am probably ok to say it. But No surprise Issy starts today for Rosenborg
Great for her. There was always a chance to come in when playing twice a week.

I am a little surprised to see her come in for Rosenborg's best player the last 12 months, but there's obviously some resting/rotation of players against a newly promoted team.

If you're watching, keep an eye on Rosenborg's number 23. She was fantastic when she first came into the team as a 15 year old. She might not have developed as quick as many thought she would, but is still 17 and probably the most exciting young player in the league.
