Just what the doctor ordered after last weeks's disappointment.

I think this was a big statement - shows we are part of the top 7 and not the bottom 14. The gap in quality between ourselves and WBA is significant.

Before Chico gloats too much, I think it would be good to see that starting line up against a side who aren't a load of arl arse before too much bunting is put up

West Brom were below par today. I'd be wary about Jags and Barry starting against an actual decent team

Ross, Kev & Rom all had great games today; Barry shows he still has a place in the squad, but not a starter for me. Definitely need at least 1, if not 2 CBs in the summer. Push on then for top 6, maybe.

Come on Mikey. No need to move the goalposts. I think many of you learned a valuable lesson today. That lesson being that you're not Ronald Koeman and nor will any of you come to appreciate around 20% of the game of football in the way he can.

I'd rather our match threads stayed free of geordiekopite behaviour (Im helping this cause by not doing tedious previews) as it's just plain daft that a load of internet plebs are calling out Koeman before a ball is kicked.

It just comfortably beat the best of the 13 sides below us in the Premier League mate. You all got it very wrong. I hope next time a team is announced the video game experts don't turn it into an orgy of critique.

Good solid performance today to put our campaign to play in Gibraltar on a Thursday night well and truly on track.
Good all round performance, even Kev managed to find one of his every 5th game performances.the game was more Barry's pace but was still surprised Gueye was left out of the lineup.
