Some fantasists here.

Lukaku gets injured and some would be happy with that Croat leading the line until May.

Unreal.

Still, we can all remember the glory day in January when he scored the second in a cup match against a Championship team.

Aside from the goal, Jelavic has played really well. Could have had another, has been lively, on the shoulder of the last man with good movement and generally showing a massive appetite to do well.

Basically the absolute opposite of Lukaku over the last month. It was the right call to start him today and hopefully this is the kick up the backside Lukaku needed.

anyone got a different radio stream to the one on the OS ? all i have is silence on the OS stream, doesn't do anything... tried it in chrome and safari now.

He's also been massively unlucky as of recent. I think his play has improved. No way would I sell him with our striker depth.

THIS. He's actually been so unlucky in recent games, after admittedly being super gash for a long time. But confidence is so massive for any player and cannot be overlooked.

It's actually quite sad that you actively want an Everton player to play poorly. Give him credit where it's due ffs.

You said we'd lose with this team.

Lol !

don't get why everyones saying our striker depth should prevent us from selling jelavic, roberto has already said he won't sell unless he has a replacement lined up. that being said i'd be fine with keeping him or selling him

Because Lukaku has done so much over the past few weeks? Ok he scored the winner v Southampton but other than that Jelavic has probably had more shots and chances in less than 90 minutes than Lukaku has gotten himself in say 6-8 games.
