Ha Ha.

Jelavic has been "unlucky" - since March 2013.

No wonder we end up short with messages sent out to the club over retaining second/third rates like him.

Because Lukaku has done so much over the past few weeks? Ok he scored the winner v Southampton but other than that Jelavic has probably had more shots and chances in less than 90 minutes than Lukaku has gotten himself in say 6-8 games.

Against QPR

Also, if we sell Jelavic now and the replacement turns out to be ****, when Lukaku leaves we're left with Kone.

That doesn't fill me with confidence.

That looks nothing like how i imagined that goal. Radio has screwed up my imagination.

Against QPR

Lukaku has had chances against Stoke and Sland who are arguably worse.

I'm not saying Lukaku is a bad player, but I am definitely saying he's had a terrible month and surely it can only be good that Jelavic has came off the bench lately and looked decent, and has took his chance today.

Please tell me you're not saying that Lukaku should be seen as Everton's deputy to Jelavic.

Yes, he scored (for once) but lets not take leave of our senses.

Hopefully that' s got Redknapp with his chequebook out anyway.

Thank you! Rep.

Lukaku is massively overrated at times. As BOSS as he is, he's been poor for a month and he needs competition.

Dave K in 'not giving credit where credit is due' shocker.

'Mistake' or not, he's smashed that in from 25 yards by all accounts. Great for him and us.

If we want the club to treat out of form players like they have leprosy, then we don't deserve to hold onto the likes of Barkley, if other clubs come knocking!
