a little bit off piste but does anyone feel that appreciation should be shown to Bill Kenwright at the next home games (if you appreciate what he has done for the club) being that he is unwell. My view is he has done what he can and is a blue through and through

I think the fans would have to know the details first. We've still had no official news on whether anything is wrong with him, so it's best to wait before making decision, in my opinion.

I'm not saying write the block off and I suppose I'm a little bit sentimental of Howie but sick or not that bloke has put his b'lls on the line for this club and I'm sure if he where ill he would appreciate some support

No one really knows his situtaion, it being dealt with as a matter of privacy, I guess they won't to keep it that way for now

Tough game tonight, Norwich despite the comments re league position being their primary objective would love a cup run as much as we do, and there's a quarter final spot for grabs.

I don't expect for a moment it will be an easy game, so am hoping Martinez goes with his strongest team available.

2-1 Everton, tight game.

I'm hoping Gibson starts tonight. Would be nice to see him get 90 mins. I'm sure the attacking players would appreciate the service as well. Maybe we'll see Ross playing deeper or Osman?

I have no idea which players Martinez has said won't be starting, but I'd go with:

Joel in goal. (heh, rhymes)

Strongest possible back four.

McCarthy Ossie.

Mirallas and Deulofeu have to start.

Ross or Naismith with Kone.

was confident till i read last few posts on here...
I'd honestly be alarmed if - after two defeats - we didn't dispatch these tonight with relative ease.

I dont see anything in this for Norwich. They probably dread the journey up and know they have to face City in the PL this weekend. They'll take a defeat by a couple of goals and shake your hand for it.

Aren't they shakey at the back?

That suits us.

Would like to see Ross play centre mid tonight. Alongside McCarthy who needs to play himself into form. Mirallas and Joel need starts, and I don't want to see McGeady's name on that starting XI.
