Then swap him for Cleverley I guess....IMO that's as strong as we have with the injuries. Think Barkley needs to be dropped deeper, it's not working for him behind Lukaku at present.

100% Pienaar is absolutely finished for us, proved without doubt on Wednesday where he couldn't even get up to jogging speed and was blowing after 5 minutes of having to track back.

He's not much better further forward at the moment....just wandering around aimlessly like a lost soul without any purpose. Give him a job to do and make him stick to it, if he can't do it change him. But I would 100% have Mirallas or even Deulofeu behind Lukaku, probably the latter as he knows better when to release a pass.

Then drop him to the bench. You don't risk him in a position hes been poor in in such a big game. Behind the striker or not at all

Normally in situations like this, i.e. going into a cup semi-final, i'd say 'it's the hope that kills you', but there doesn't seem to be any hope. I've never ever felt this despondent about Everton before. I'm seeing nothing but another hiding.
