Thanks, mate. Everton and Portsmouth are the biggest jokes in the PL. But at least Pompey have an excuse, seeing as they've been stripped of all their assets. What's our excuse? Joleon Lescott wasn't to blame for that shambles.
Before we start on the anti Kenwrong business. Moyes is just as culpable for taking an absolute age to do his business.
That too and him playing a truely horrible game with the Lescott thing and it backfiring completely.
He's still ace, he just does my head in a bit sometimes.
Still, we'd be goosed without him.
I don,t know chico the only real bid we put in was for naughton apparently but the way we do business i bet we wanted to leave it till the last week in august cos we had no dosh and spurs came in and took him away. Before we start on the anti Kenwrong business. How many times has moyes said we have no money to add to the quality we have here.
I am sure if moyes had money available he would have used it
All parts of the club have to take their share of the awful start of this season.
Lescott for ruining the clubs spirit and atmosphere.
Kenwright for not being able to give Moyes sufficient funds to strengthen the squad.
Moyes for not being able to keep the squad together and for not going after the correct players sooner. Instead of strengthening the first team he has signed up youngsters and reserves. While I like the strategy of signing youngsters for the future, we must have the players in the a-team to make sure the youngsters have a future to fight for here.
The squad for not being able to show us and themselves what they are capable of doing. Sure we miss Arteta, Jags, Yak & Vic but we should be able to beat sides like Burnley anyway.
I agree there was not a plan b and thats not good management and i am sure moysie would knew who he wanted in the summer but he can,t do anymore than tell kenshite.I'd love us to have more money mate but you'd think that targets would be indentified prior to the summer and we'd move to sort out business.
From what it seems, plan A was Naughton and there was no plan B - which is a bit frustrating.
Things must be so bad at the club for neville to be played at centre half.Which I find weird that he would rather play Neville at centre half than Mustafi or any of the other young centre half lads - players who are centre halfs by trade.
Lost 3 of our opening 4 last year, bit soon to be throwing in the towel.
At least we're still in Europe this year...
