Thanks, mate. Everton and Portsmouth are the biggest jokes in the PL. But at least Pompey have an excuse, seeing as they've been stripped of all their assets. What's our excuse? Joleon Lescott wasn't to blame for that shambles.

Exactly, they dont have any strikers, had to get Kanu out of retirement, no defence, no money, and a no-mark manager.

Apart from 3 injuries and a centre half buggering off, its the same team that were in the final of the FA Cup, that got the FA Cup and pushed to the end of last season 5th.

That team now cant string 3 passes together.

Cant see Pienaar signing his contract extension. And if Kenwright so much as takes £2 from that Lescott money, Moyes will walk.

Then it'll be Championship footy for us.

we need a leader on the pitch who leads by example , not in the 'model pro sense' but in the sense of passion desire and exceptional play.

we also need a leader off the pitch ,as imo all of our problems stem from years of an inept chairman and board.

yobo for me was the only player who gets any credit for his commitment and performance throughout todays game.

although it wasnt all bad and the players did have the odd good moment or 2 , as an everton fan i feel as hollow as i did last summer if not more so.

Disappointing yet again.

I think we need to start making changes and bring on some new faces .

Players who should be on the bench :

Howard
Cahill
Neville
Osman

These players are bringing little to the team and it's time to give the youngsters a go.

Moyes needs to start turning games around with substitutes when it's not going our way.
Would like to see Baxter, Gosling, Mustafi, Peterlin, Coleman, Arnoux and one of the reserve keepers being used more often. We have nothing to lose.

All parts of the club have to take their share of the awful start of this season.

Lescott for ruining the clubs spirit and atmosphere.
Kenwright for not being able to give Moyes sufficient funds to strengthen the squad.
Moyes for not being able to keep the squad together and for not going after the correct players sooner. Instead of strengthening the first team he has signed up youngsters and reserves. While I like the strategy of signing youngsters for the future, we must have the players in the a-team to make sure the youngsters have a future to fight for here.
The squad for not being able to show us and themselves what they are capable of doing. Sure we miss Arteta, Jags, Yak & Vic but we should be able to beat sides like Burnley anyway.

He's still ace, he just does my head in a bit sometimes.

Still, we'd be goosed without him.

That's why its all ****ed from top to bottom. One thing leads to another and sometimes people are worst than the other.

And I honestly believe if he doesnt get all that money from the Lescott transfer, I think he'll leave.

Before we start on the anti Kenwrong business. Moyes is just as culpable for taking an absolute age to do his business.
I don,t know chico the only real bid we put in was for naughton apparently but the way we do business i bet we wanted to leave it till the last week in august cos we had no dosh and spurs came in and took him away.
How many times has moyes said we have no money to add to the quality we have here.
I am sure if moyes had money available he would have used it

I'd love us to have more money mate but you'd think that targets would be indentified prior to the summer and we'd move to sort out business.

From what it seems, plan A was Naughton and there was no plan B - which is a bit frustrating.

Which I find weird that he would rather play Neville at centre half than Mustafi or any of the other young centre half lads - players who are centre halfs by trade.
