I thought he was finished but McCarthy has been very good so far today.

It shows now that he can do his pressing in better areas as he's not covering the whole midfield like he was last season due to Barry not having legs and Ross not doing anything defensively.

Schneiderlin is helping him out and he's alble to press, win the tackle and pass it on. He's doing it superbly
