They have the third worst defensive record in the league, have conceded 3 or more in 8 of there last 12, and 2 or more in 10 of the last 12.

Howe is certainly very consistant mate... their league position isn't harsh on them at all, they have an utter joke of a defense and there shipping goals for fun mate, with Wilson going out for the season last game they are in serious danger of being one of the teams pulled right into the relagation fight.

As for their confidence, i doubt they have any at all atm, getting bummed week in week out and shipping tons of goals will dent the belief of any team
Oh, ok. It should be a piece of piss then eh?

This is one of those games where if we get off to yet another slow start, it'll encourage them. See the Arsenal game for details.

We should win, but it'll be a tough one if we make it hard for ourselves in the first 30.

Actually yes, it should be. We have 1 home loss all season, their away record is dreadful (they've lost 7 times away from home).

Whether it will be is another thing altogether.

Interesting story where I once met Arnie when I was working in Austria. I'd gone for dinner with a colleague to this little underground type restaurant in Vienna. Anyway, after about half an hour who should come in and sit down? Arnie! Now, I'm not one for getting giddy around celebrities but this was Arnie so I felt I had to say something to him, and he was on his own. So toward the end I strolled across, all casual like and just said "hello", "big fan" etc.

He was very cool and we chatted for a minute or two but he seems a bit down to me, looked quite sad. So I said to him "if you don't mind me saying, you seem a little down, is everything ok?" He replied "no, not really. This year I really went to town with cards, gifts and chocolates for all my friends and family at Easter, but not one of them even got me a card. I feel quite upset about it"

I said "ah, that's awful Arnold I can see why you're upset. Do you hate Easter now?"

He said "nah, I still love Easter, baby"

True story.
I'll get your coat shall I? :)

Perfect day today would be a comfortable victory against these, and Stoke turning over WBA away. I'd say Hull taking something off them lot too but that would just be greedy.

perfect for us would be off course us winning, them losing [but think they will win],stoke to win,and man utd to lose tomorrow

Why would they give a flying one about coming here? They're an accomplished team and seen us off at their place quite handily.
That was then and they haven't looked very accomplished for weeks. We have, though.

Oh, I'm not saying it'll be easy for us, just that they shouldn't expect to get anything here.

...Norwich and Leicester beat us at home in the cups and the the Palace and Swansea draws could have been a lot worse.

We should win (as I stated already) but I would not rule out a draw. B'mouth will end their poor run soon enough.

I dont think they will expect it, but I think they'll look at it and know they can at their best at least replicate what Swansea did a few weeks ago.

They're an open side, though, and that should help us.

...I know it's a cliche but there really isn't any easy games for us in this league. I know we thumped City but generally our matches have been very tight and we are right to not underestimate any opposition. Saying that, I'm feeling more positive about our team than I have done in a long time but I would never take a football match for granted and we have to respect Bournemouth.

No mate, we should be going into this game absolutely terrified of the super confident Bournemouth who are coming here according to you full of confidence expecting to easily beat us

It's not last year yanno, were actually good at home again mate not one of the worst in the league, but yeah Bournemouth fresh off the back of shipping 28 in the last 12 games and us off the back of two games against saints and city where we won 7-0, i can totally see how Bournemouth will be arriving fully confident of the result.

See you at full time mate, where if we as i expect have had a pretty big win then you will no doubt have a multitude of excuses about how Bournemouth are actually crap, how we got lucky, how the wind effected Bournemouth (or rain, or sunlight or clouds), or where the park end made Koeman make team selections thus removing any credit for the performance.

On the rare chance you would actually give credit after it ofc, then fully expect you within 12 hours to be finidng something else to slate the manager, the club and everything about the team about.

Carry on mate, your doing a sterling job.

But hey we could lose it as anythign is possible, in which case you will be on using it as much as you can do to support all your negative posts about the manager, whatever makes you happy i suppose

We won't take them for granted mate, which is why i'm fully confident we will absolutely smash these all over the shop today (me being that confident doesn't mean the players are gonna swagger in half bothered btw ;) )
