I know we won and it doesn't really matter, but for Harry Arter's goal, the ball clearly went out, behind the goal, before he scored. It annoys me when these things are missed. I think the goal line technology should be extended behind the goal. That Sterling goal in the league cup which was similar, still annoys me

spot on mate because let's just say that was 3-2 when that happened. Ref can't call it, linesman can't either if they don't see it.

My MoTM was James McCarthy with Lukaku a close second.

Impressed for the most part with Lookman.

Williams had a nightmare.

Mirallas strong when he came in. Want more of that.

Davies sub helped change the momentum a bit.

That is all.

McCarthy seems to have come on quite a bit recently with the rest he's had. Made him concentrate a bit more and eliminate the mistakes that seemed to plague his game. Good option these days in a position with lots of competition.

That was a great performance from everton.

After you guys played well and beat us in december, I thought to myself, why doesn't everton play like that every game? That's exactly what happened after that it seems. I knew Koeman will get things going, the team in good form. Top 4 is very much on, make no mistake about that.

Amazing what happens when you get rid of a fraud of a manager. Perhaps Arsenal will learn a thing or two!

Their right back/right mid Fraser looked a decent player, only 22 and 5 ft 4. Lightning quick and ran all game. He was part of a defence that conceded 6 though, so you know.

just watched the match, 6-3 flattered Bournemouth - we absolutely played them off the park for 80 minutes! great performance that, minus a couple of hiccups

Even though I was fuming I thought of how Howe tactically out thought Klopp from a seemingly unasaleable lead to mastermind a 4-3 win and was concerned he might turn this game too.

But Koeman changed the shape and we pulled clear again.

A very good battle today, though at 3-2 it was very nerve wracking!

Yeah had exactly the same thought. Fair play to Koeman though. He completely impressed me today changing that around within 15 mins of 2nd half starting. And the team were impressive switching tactically too. That gives me more hope that seeing 6 goals.

KOEMAN: We’re really happy about the win. It isn’t a normal result in the Premier League, and there were more chances for both teams.

We were really comfortable at half-time, but Bournemouth did well, and we dropped our intensity.

I’m happy that I changed the system at the time they had got it to 3-2, and we got the control back and scored some fantastic goals.

On the one side, scoring six goals is a great effort, but we conceded three and that’s not the high standard that we want.

We lost our shape and Bournemouth played well and took a lot of risks, and made it very difficult.

ON ROM: Outstanding, in been clinical. I have never seen a striker so clinical with his finishing. He got four goals today from four chances.

He showed today that he is one of the best strikers in the world.

ON FORM: The team has changed. If you compare it to the start of the season, even though we were winning games, we are improving a lot with our possession and our pressing.

We did it for 45 minutes today and then in the last 15 minutes as well, but we did not show it for most of the second-half.

ON LOOKMAN/SNIDES:

Schneiderlin is a quality player. You do not sign for Manchester United if you are not.

Ademola is a fantastic talent, but like I told him at half-time, he has to now adapt to high-level football.

He can do it one-on-one, but not outside of the box, he needs to do it in the box and not lose the ball. But he has unbelievable qualities, and he will improve and become stronger.

ON RACE FOR EUROPE: We look around us and above us, and we just have to win every game. Then you can put the pressure on the teams above, but that is down to us.

Spamming a second thread with his quotes

Anyone else read this in a Dutch accent?
I like what he said about conceding the three goals. A lot more positives from him these days, mixed with a determination to get better and continue to improve.

Absolutely amazing today!!! The world's best defenders couldn't have coped with Lukaku.
It was my daughter's first Premier League game today; the word 'unforgettable' doesn't even come close!
Shame about the soft goals we gave away but six for The Blues will do for me people!!!

Brilliant! Better than my first Goodison experience... 0-0 v West Ham sitting behind a pillar :D

One of the things I liked best was the crowd getting behind them when they were wobbling at 3-2. a really good day at Goodison yesterday, plus Niasse hahaha!!

Yep psychologically that will help us going forward too that we pulled away emphatically when memories of 3-3 draws from winning positions are still raw.
I am sure we all remembered Bournemouths 4-3 v Liverpool too (great day), so understandable that some anxiety would creep in.
Koeman is slowly changing the mindset of the club.
