We're not good enough to be honest, we'll get our arsed handed to us on a plate.
 
what?? We have the same starting line up as last year + Yakubu, Arsenal have lost Adebayor and Toure.
 
Early to predict since it's 6 days until the game starts, but with Arteta gone, Jags gone and Yakubu only just starting his way back... I sadly feel a loss coming up unless something happens in the coming week.
 

Have faith. It's at Goodison (would have been a lot more daunting if it was at the Emirates), their team likes height (get in that box Fellaini!) and it's common knowledge Arsenal like playing the beautiful game and don't like being in a scrap. Oh, and if they go 1-0 up they can't sit on a result to save their life!

Sold their top striker and only remaining member of their title winning team (replacement is currently injured and, if he does play, he's from Eredivisie so may need time).

My only concern is their youth. They may take us by surprise.

But I'm confident. Cahill 1-0 :)
 
Not "likes" height... I meant lacks height! Physically Everton are superior and we complement this with technique too with players like Pienaar.

Hmmm. I don't really know, first game and that. I'd feel a little more confident if Arteta was pulling the strings in the middle.
I reckon nil all.
