Agreed but he’s middle of the goal, 8 yards out under no challenge. He has to score it. We really do need better though

Oh, I wholeheartedly agree and I'm not defending him. We can't be affording players to miss opportunities in that position, let alone part of our forward line.

Nevertheless, it really is not a strength to his game, which is a worry. When he's got 1-on-1 chances, I often feel he's more likely to miss than score.
