Watched the game with my daughter. When Wigan Number 9 scored the second goal she said "no way, I went to school with him"

Anyhow, the stadium looks amazing, and the pitch view from high in the stand is fantastic. Cant wait to see it full and hear the roar when they walk out to Z-Cars!

`Wigan is a good academy, even at Cat 2. Over 40% of their first team squad and starters last season are academy graduates, so they work hard with them.

A fair few of those boys will be in the pipeline for their first team, whereas our academy (and most PL academies) work differently in terms of expectations.

And, let's be honest, there must have been some heavy expectations on our lads last night: how many have played under 10k expecting fans?

That kind of pressure will influence, so I am not looking into it too much.

Sorry for bringing it up the forum and don't wanna bring mood down, but dilated cardiomyopathy, caused by infection, not in needing transplant territory, but 50:50 I get better enough for a normal life or I'll never be a surgeon again. Just gotta wait it out, but the blues and my 3&5 year old have kept me positive

Funnily enough, he overlooked this potential problem, as he was too busy moaning about the wrong type of pattern on the brickwork, the entrances being death traps and the ninja death star wind turbines
