One good thing about being out there for this and looking so bad...if the Friedkins have any pride, they will want to improve this! Imagine the scene at the Friedkin Houston ranch:
"Hey neighbors, you guys wanna come over and watch my new toy? I bought ANOTHER soccer team- this one will be da shizzle! Come on over, I got popcorn, pretzels and Bud light...it's gonna be AWESOME!"

Hey Pa, can I get an Everton soccer ball shirt ? No son, you ain’t wearing that Castore abomination in these parts. Hell, get yourself a Maga hat son, don’t embarrass the family.

but that's an excuse not a guarantee - we'll never know
It's worrying either way how much we rely on those three and an in form and fit Gueye in front to set the foundations. The weaknesses in the team really got exposed as a result - i.e., GASH in possession, turtle pace at full back and Ndaiye the only potential threat on the break.

Now the dust has began to settle i can say I feel more positive. If they hadn't have played any defenders then some of our long balls might have created some big chances, if they hadn't have dominated midfield the football would have been akin to Barcelona in their pomp. The goalkeeper was unlucky to punch the ball behind him like an 8 year old kid, on another day he'd have caught it, thrown it to our new pacey right winger and we score on the counter attack.

Feel much more positive now.
