Could be ultimate rimmage by West Ham tonight. Can't wait for the EFC interview questions after the game about how positive minutes in the legs are despite a 7-0 romping, etc.
Can’t wait for you to whinge about how we are getting relegated based off a pre season game that provides no points and go on about other clubs being better prepared at this point. (Newcastle just lost a third pre season game against a K league side fyi)

I don't believe we'll get relegated.

We'll ultimately end up strengthening the squad.

However there is a very rare, golden opportunity for the club to immediately challenge for a top 6 spot with just a few wise signings. The league is at tight as it's been in 30+ years and we are messing up our chances big style by once again going into a season completely unprepared.

Hopefully we don't need to wait until 2060 for another go at the big European competition.

I just rewatched the first half v Bournemouth as I only saw the second half live. Thought we were excellent. NDiaye, Alcaraz and Tim all looked very good. Beto seemed a bit more polished than last season too. I reckon we just tired second half because we were by far the better side first half.
Yep, most teams are making 10 changes second half whereas we couldn’t. Ran out of steam massively.

Wine is at the ready…. Let’s hope there are some small positives from this evening

At least another goal from open play would be a start
