Wow that hammers team is seriously understrength. No Antonio at all and Soucek and Bowen only on the bench.

Lanzini, Ben Johnson, Snodgrass, Wilshire and Felipe Anderson also start in a heavily changed team, easier to name the one or two who are retained like Rice.

Eight changes for West Ham only Declan Rice, Cresswell and Balbuena retained from the side that hammered Wolves.

Obviously thinking they need their first team fully fit for the schedule from hell they've got coming up in theur next few league fixtures.

Tbh the league cup just isn't rated by many who have other priorities either at the top or foot of the league
