surely can't start DCL on the wing over lookman, how can he impress when hes not given proper game time

Apart from Lookman stunk the place out last time and was awful for the u23's last week too. DCL getting praise for his performances. Kind of obvious really

Impress the manager during the week, get put in the team. He's said no end of times he wants competition for places. Lookman's competition has just been out for three games so if he was burning it up in the training sessions he would have been playing.

..I imagine DCLs goals will keep him ahead in the queue, although Silva might prefer a conventional wide player. Bernard could be the selection on the left leaving a choice between Tosun and DCL up front. Going to be interesting.

Perhaps Bernard for Lookman on that line-up - presents a very scary front line to WetSpam Lookman on when Bernard tires. That would be my choice but I feel DCL will get that LW slot due to goals.

We are likely to replace him with Noble, who I love, but who really isn't cut out for the system we try and play. Poor bloke looks like he's running through syrup at times.
