Like 11 new signings. Weird.

Rooney by a country mile, though everyone had a good game. Absolutely made up for Rhino, he deserved that and hope he enjoyed every single second. What a way to sign off as Caretaker manager. Up the toffees!

Rooney and Pickford, both pivotal to this game. Pickford gets my vote, for the penalty save and keeping a clean sheet (first in a while). Rooney showed he doesn't need to run his old legs into the ground to press forward if he can score from 70 yards! Good result, not just for the three points, but for the improved goal difference.

Wow - how bad were West Ham?!

I can't understand why Hart wasn't sent off for denying a clear goal scoring opportunity. Zabaleta fortunate to stay on as well.

All of the players put in an effort tonight, though we didn't play particularly well as a unit. Williams is so poor.

I went with Kenny for MotM. Was aware of what was going on around him at all times and made vital interceptions, plus played a big part in our second.

Sigurdsson had a decent game. Rooney will deservedly take the plaudits for his hat trick and performance from most.

Important win tonight.
