How do you think Kone felt coming on to boos mate?

Also while you're there tell me Lennon's "dangerous" contribution to the second half. He'd been virtually anonymous since half time.
He was anonymous as he had 3 grocks on him at almost every turn. That's how little Pulis cared about how much our left side created.
Kone probably doesn't give a crap about the boo's. He goes home throwing 50's into an open fire, trying on the tightest sports T-shirts he can find.

It was proper painful watching Kone today though. That was almost a McShane or Brek Shea level of performance.

We didn't play terribly but a draw at home to this West Brom side would have been disappointing, to lose thanks to horrendous defending of a corner (again) would hurt if we hadn't grown so accustomed to it.

Going to be tough finishing in the top half if we can't win more than two in a row.

Fantastic, so we will keep putting him on and hope and pray that one day it will happen again, great ! By the way is that you Roberto????

No, not at all, but it has definitely worked this season.

Against teams that sit so deep, Lukaku is basically ineffective on his own, as he always has so many men around him.

When Kone came on, he did take a man away from Rom and we did create a bit more space in their box.

He isn't good enough, but I don't think, in that situation, that the change was illogical. As I have said previously, it's a shame Niasse wasn't even on the bench. Would have added an unknown quantity for the last 15 mins or so.

Brilliant substitutions by our phenomenal manager and yet again a defensive lapse cost us the match.
Why blame the crowd? We have seen enough.

Crowd is loud and clear with the verdict....from now on it will be toxic for Martinez and we may see no further wins at home...hope new owners do the right thing and terminate El Frodo before he destroys the club....

No issue with Gerry coming on, I'd just have preferred to have two wingers on the field rather than kone.

I thought that playing two wingers against a deeply set defence would be obvious. Not playing a crap goalie all saeson would be obvious. And that lack of common sense is what is driving people nuts. EFC is so near to a top six spot and we do have top players and an attractive style, but RM blows it.

Listen, I am a believer in RM and admire his transfer picking but why he makes so many on-field mistakes beats me.

Kone and Ossie as subs!!. Twelve hours later, I am still unable to understand what he was thinking. As for RM's defence of Howard: his experience and relationship with other players count for nothing if he make terrible mistakes time after time.

This season has become a massive opportunity that RM has failed to grasp.

I'm not really sure what to make of that. On another day we'd have smashed most teams with the possession and chances we created.
On the other hand tho, we just lost 0-1 v WBA at home ffs! Not for the first time this season we lose at home to inferior opposition when we have an opportunity to push on.
Frustrating all round really.

This WBA side is in poor form - 3rd least goals in PL
no wins in 6 and having to play 210 minutes to then only beat a League 1 Petersborough with penalties after extra time on Wednesday evening - having also conceded 3 goals against P'borough in the process -
they come to our backyard jaded and toothless and they score and we don't - no man tell me another one -
we are a side with our eyes on the Champions Leauge ar'nt we and we stumble over opposition like this -
maybe we should rethink our true potential under the current manager -
i have supported Martinez up till now but his consistant failures to grab huge opportunities have reached a tipping point -
dammit we should have been 3 behind Man United today - but no WBA is too good for us at home
all sides where tere are issues between manager and some players seem to battle - eg Chelsea, WBA , Everton , Newcastle
