He’s clearly got the talent, but he hasn’t shown it the past 5 games or so. Never seems to take people on when he could just beat them for pace most of the time.

NBC Sports here is the States spent the first 20-25 mins talking about us and Watford. Now they've moved on to stories about the "Top 5" and how they will habdle Europe. Honestly I'm fine with that allotment. They'll probably switch back to EVE-WAT analysis in the 10-15 mins before kickoff.

NBC's coverage of the PL is great over here, especially compared to FOX, and now Turner, who televise the CL and other recent FIFA events. ESPN is also pretty solid covering the international events, but sadly doesn't have the rights to big tournaments anymore.

NBC's "smart" coverage is definitely one of the reasons that the PL is king in the States, over other European leagues.

I was just thinking this exact thing. They've both covered the actual match and looked at the league at large which is really good. The only thing that annoys me is that Pickford segment was thrown in just to show his derby mistake but whatever it could be much worse. Like as you said FOX or the new CL coverage has been.

But he's the only wide player who actually plays like a winger when Lookman, ricko and bernie usually cut inside. We need his movement to stretch defenses and that was missing against Newcastle.

Ive said it before, after the emotional trauma he went through at Barca no way will he move anywhere else other than us if he's genuinely enjoying himself and settling in at the club.

Anyone who's suffered depression in the workplace and moves to a new job that they enjoy will vouch for that.
