Martinez is doing everything he possibly can to make his job difficult for himself.

I can't even give Watford too much credit for that. They've done the obvious thing that we knew they would and it's worked as it almost always does against us.

As much as I miss Baines, I have to say that Galloway has mostly been impressive in the first half.
Barkley has been brave with shots a couple of times, and very nearly netted what would have been a real golazo.
Not sure why there was Barry hate up thread... He nearly equalized for us from a corner, has made some very good, well-spotted passes and has been one of the calmer players out there.
Watford has been defending very aggressively, and unfortunately we haven't really been able to string an attack together this far. The current scoreline is just, and frankly it could easily be 0-2 in favor of Watford.
I think Martinez is going to make a major tactical change at the half now that he sees what Watford is up to... Wouldn't be surprised to see a sub when we come back.

I honestly don't think any new signing will do a slight bit of difference, it's the tactics/formation that are wrong, and playing players out of position.

Boos at halftime says it all. The players look like they have no system to follow. We are so slow in attack. The opposition have their shape by the time we reach the penalty area and we have no clue how to break teams down. Same as last season. I love the guy as a man but not as Everton manager. I have no confidence in him.
